Stephanie grew up in the Sonoran Desert, where she has spent much of her life. She has over a decade of experience working with children in a variety of settings, from classroom spaces to outdoor and home environments.
She is dedicated to a model of liberatory anti-bias education that centers the development of children's autonomy and a deep sense of community and compassion.
Stephanie is a lifelong learner, who holds a BA in Early Childhood Education - Dual Language. She also holds certificates in Foundations in Storytelling and Environmental and Resource Conservation. She is fluent in Italian, and has basic ASL skills.
Stephanie is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the North American Reggio Emilia Association.
